Raymond Wong, Head of Investment, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), manages the HKSTP Corporate Venture Fund and investment & business support teams. He has extensive financial services experience in capital investment, portfolio management, mergers and acquisition as well as strategic investment across different sectors in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to HKSTP, Raymond was the Principal in HPEF Capital Partners which is an ex-HSBC private equity firm. Previously, he had software development experience at IBM Laboratory in Toronto, Canada.
Raymond obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science (Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing) from University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Business School, New York.
Ms. Alice So has been dedicated to provide supports to Hong Kong start-ups more than 9 years. She joined Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited in 2011. Currently she is the lead of Cyberport Entrepreneurs Team offering the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund and the Cyberport Incubation Programme with funding support and professional services, to nurture talents and assist start-ups at different life stages to accelerate in the digital tech industry.
She is a Project Management Professional of Project Management Institute and a Senior Member of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing.
SL is a serial entrepreneur, with strong experience in business and marketing strategy in APAC and Europe. SL has worked at New World Group, PCCW, ST Electronics, and the Chinese Public Security Bureau since moving back to Hong Kong after spending 8 years in the U.K., including his study of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence in the University of Leeds. SL applies his knowledge in A.I. (Artificial Neural Network) and technology on business operation and strategic marketing, that helps corporates and organizations improve operations efficiency and marketing effectiveness. After spending 5 years as an entrepreneur, SL appointed as the Program Director of EYE Program 2016 (powered by Google). With the success of EYE Program in Hong Kong and Asia, SL joined Design Thinking in Action Asia as the Alliance and Partnership Lead in 2017, responsible for engaging key partners and stakeholders in both local and global networks. SL also serves as marketing and strategy consultant and mentor for the FITI Program by Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology since late 2016.
SL deeply cares about the community and youth development, and serves extensively in Greater China and Singapore in the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. SL is a frequent speaker, trainer and mentor specialised in business development, marketing, and A.I..
Herbert has spent his life living between Hong Kong and mainland China in the last 10 years.
He is currently Venture partner of Sequoia Capital China as well as The Chairman of Data Hub Committee of Smart City Consortium, President of Youedata Big Data Research Institute, Deputy Director of the Working Group for big data standardization of China National Information Standardization Committee(2015-2017), Advisor to the Big Data Committee of Guiyang City, Adjunct Professor at School of Management of Zhejiang University.

Herbert was Group vice president and Chairman of data management committee of Alibaba group after joining in August 2010. During his tenure in Alibaba as Group vice president. Leading his team to make a series of achievement in data governerce and recognised as the best IT team in 2014 organised by Top CIO. He was also named by the State Information Center as China's top ten most influential big data entrepreneurs in 2017.
Patrick is managing director and region leader in the Valuation Advisory Services practice for Greater China, responsible for the management and strategic development of the firm’s Greater China operation which has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen and Taipei. These offices together provide expertise in the independent valuation of businesses, business interests and all classifications of tangible and intangible assets throughout the region.
Patrick has worked in the manufacturing industry as a director-manager with extensive management, accounting and board room experience. For the firm, he is extensively involved in providing professional consulting services for a wide range of business sectors such as banking, business acquisitions, public listings, real estate and investment in Hong Kong and the PRC, professional development, quality assurance and business development.
Patrick graduated from the University of London, England, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and the Cass Business School, City University in London, England, with a Master Degree in Business Administration and Production Management. He subsequently attended professional law school at the College of Law, London, England, and was also qualified as a lawyer.
Tak Lo is a Managing Partner at Zeroth, a platform that helps ambitious founders build AI companies that solves tomorrow’s problems. Zeroth’s inaugural cohort consisted of 10 companies solving diverse problems from agriculture to edge computing – a first in Asia.
Tak started his career in the US Army. He graduated from the London Business School and the University of Chicago.

Chibo Tang joined Gobi in 2009. He is based in Shanghai, and currently focuses on the consumer, sports, and media sectors in China. In Hong Kong, he helps to manage the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, and travels frequently to meet with various startups related to the Alibaba ecosystem.
Chibo has accumulated extensive experience in professional services, local startups, and Fortune 500 companies. He started his career as a strategy consultant with Monitor Group, where he worked across ASEAN and MENA. He also gained valuable operations experience at DMG (a Gobi portfolio company), where he was VP-Corporate Development, and at Robert Bosch, where he was Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy in Asia Pacific.
Chibo received his B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University. He currently serves on the Board of the Harvard Club of Shanghai.
